The coolest looking monster is probably the Creeper at the end of Jeepers Creepers when all that shit is popping out on his face.
The scariest is definitely the penis monster in Tromeo and Juliet. |
i think jason looks pretty kool because in one of the friday the 13th movies i dont know which one it iz but jason got his mask taken off and he looked like sonething out of hell LOL

You seen Jason's face in part 2 or 3 too. In the barn, and when he popps out of the water.

Modern Horror Movies:
In this category me vote goes to Pinhead. I have to agree with moonsorrow. Pinhead looks like hell's emissary. If in the hell is fashion probablly is created by him... Clive Barker has amazing and perverse imagination. Classic Horror Movies: People who made horror movies in 60s and earlier created thousands monsters. Because today I am in a good mood (Myers is hunting:)) my vote goes to Monster from classic B-Movie Robot Monster. Crossbreed gorilla with robot is awesome:) Mission of the cyber-monster too. Warning!! This film is not for man who have weak nerves ha ha ha. |
I dunno, Jason's face ain't all that scary in Part Five (if you've seen it you'll get it) . ;)
That said, Jason's hockey mask with the cold, dead eyeholes get my vote. |

|
oh, and thats axe im holding, i collect swords and axes and the kind...and i practise with them 3 hours a day! (pirates of the carrabeean)
|
Okay, if one can include monsters, the Balrog from Lord Of The Rings was pretty stunning to see. Sure scared all the goblins away. ;)
Best horror related monster for me was probably the creature from Carpenter's "The Thing". It was just grotesque the way it caught its victims. Scary film indeed and worth seeing. S! |
i was thinking of horror monsters but who realy gives a fuck? i liked the male dragon (if it can be called a monster) from reign of fire, reminded me of a freaky combination of a bat and how iv always pictured a dragon
|
My vote goes to the three mountain men from Wrong Turn...
- Three Finger - Saw-Tooth - One-Eye I think Saw-Tooth looked the best in the face, but Three-Finger had the most disfigured body shape I've seen in a horror film... |
Phantom of The Paradise with his awesome mask, metal teeth, and black leather cape and bodysuit with chest hardware. Cool!

I've gotta go with either the thing from "the thing"
or any of the aliens from the first 2 films (Alien, Aliens) |
All good nominations, but this guy(or gal if you've read the book;) )gets my vote.
|
I would have to say...ME!:D :p
|
I like lots of those mentionned before
but the one thing I really liked were the little demons in the gate I dunno why, but I love the way they were made |

Jesus, abbycomix has just seen all of my favorite movies. Phantom of the Paradise? I only know one other person who has even heard of that movie, let alone seen it. I was up late one night watching AMC or TCM and it comes on. What a brilliant piece of Glam Rock Opera!
Anyway, fav psycho\monster, huh. The first time I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Leather Face pops out for the first time with that wierd grunting, that got me. Frank from Blue Velvet comes to mind. Or maybe Bob from Twin Peaks. As for monsters, I'm a goddamned Godzilla fan. |
the champ
i was lucky enough to go on tour of stan winston studios a couple years back. We walk in his meeting room and lining the wall is a moquette of every creature hes ever done. T-rex, The Rippers from Tank Girl, Lestat, Warrior Alien, Penguins from Batman Returns, T-800, on and on. Then I noticed it. Over in the corner standing 7 feet tall holding a human skull/ vertibrae high in one hand and a spear in the other was Predator. I fucking flipped. I had to kneel in front of it all like "Excalibur". It was fucking sick.
By far Predator owns this catagory, fallowed up by the warrior alien circa Aliens. |
Anyone here ever see Wicked City? It's Japanese, has both an animated and live-action version? Scary lookin' monsters in that one. Spider-lady, Ewww!
