best haunting movies
which haunting movies are the best (similar as Amityville horror)?
|
You know, I had a thread about this not too long ago ... and never really got any help with it. I've been disappointed by just about every haunted house movie I have ever seen.
In fact, the only one that doesn't bore me to tears is House, starring that great American hero, William Katt. |

HAHA! I loved that show..... Yeah, haunting movies are typically glitz these days, with very little put into actual creepiness. i am writing a story about a "haunted" old building... I hope it provides the desired effect. (basically, scares someone shitless) The house on haunted Hill remake got a lot of the visuals right, btu the movie as a whole just doesnt hold up. Not caring what happens to the characters hurts the story. |
I'll tell you the same thing I told Stingy.
"The Changeling" with George C Scott. I thought it was very creepy and it was a great little mystery as well. |
