LAKE ALICE 2017

A family spend Christmas at their winter lodge but start getting picked off one by one.

It was okay. I love isolated winter settings and this definately had that but a lot was left unresolved.

They didn't reveal that Alice was the killer at the end? ::confused::

And you spell definitely the way I tend to spell it. = P

I have to remember how to spell definitely by saying "De-fin it, Ely." Like shark finning. Which is ironic cause I hate finning and love sharks. 8/

I saw that too last night. Small world. :-)

It was fun for what it is. Nothing major, but a laugh or two, a good kill. After hearing Kermode's review, I was kind of curious about the Brad and Fiona Dourif laugh off. Which delivered.

Despite being in widespread use, the misspelling*definately*comes in for considerable scorn. The Urban Dictionary has a separate entry for*definately, which it defines as: 'Idiot-speak for “definitely”. One of the most common moronic misspellings found on the Internet'.Oct 23, 2014 "
::embarrassment::

Haha, small world indeed!

It had some good points, Chucky was as entertaining as usual with his dark humor. But good lord... There were many twisted kill opportunities missed! The biggest being the woman who was medicated to a state of conscious but unable to move... I recall an episode of Tales From the Crypt more horrifying than that scene was. ::roll eyes::

The story was very different from the rest of the Chucky films, and it talked like it wanted to take more chances, but it didn't walk the walk.

Also didn't care for the ending. It was a way to get horny males to watch it and not much else.

Hey, Urban Dictionary, it's not OUR fault the English language is so ridiculous! ::big grin::
I've actually heard someone say that if they hadn't learned English at an early age and had to learn it all over again, they would rather kill themselves than learn it as an adult. Can't say I blame them in all honesty.

Speaking of dark humor. I saw the decapitation and wondered if they considered a joke about the glass ceiling. "Looks like the glass ceiling broke you" or something.

Or maybe "you always wanted to get "a head" in life". ::big grin:: ::roll eyes::
