This goes against all of my Horror Purist sensibilities but, damnit, the Red Band Trailer looks FUCKING. AWESOME.

I think the original Necronomicon book was pretty spooky, but this one looks very raw as well. I like it's naked, butch look, something expected out of a TCM film. It goes to show how the film is going to be.

And judging by that red-band trailer which Chrono posted, looks like it's going to be f***ing sweet. Can't wait.

Like most I was really skeptical when I first heard about this remake. But after watching the trailer I can't help but be excited. It's obvious that you can't compare this film with the original, but it should be pretty damn good nonetheless.
