Summer Of Blood. Not bad but it emphasises the comedy more than the horror.

I saw this movie on Starry Eyes' dvd and it looked intresting. What made me give it a go was it had Melodie Sisk in it, who I was in a movie with.

I went to see the advance screening of House of 1000 Corpses. It was packed, we had to sit in the front row. There was a group of teenagers about halfway up that was loud a shit. They lit up a joint about when the slow draw back head shot happened. The guy next to them started throwing punches and there was a brawl. The cops came and escorted about 8 people away in cuffs. And the movie was awesome... Lol!

You then took their seats right? ::big grin::

Wes Craven's New Nightmare.
My third favorite in the Elm St series.

I would say yes, a bit. Less wink wink nudge nudge but it does have the same "meta" approach. Not that New Nightmare doesn't have moments of humor, but it's far more serious in tone.

As someone who's not a big fan of the NoES series, I liked New Nightmare. Course I watched it for the first time in tribute of Wes Craven's death, so it was a lot more bitter sweet watching it with that in mind. There were a lot dumb moments (climbing a fence when you have a car right there to drive through it, HELLO?!), but with NoES you kind of expect that, and it was still a fun watch.

Atomic Blonde (2017)

Spy movie with incredible action, great music and an impressive performance from Charlize Theron. The plot is a little thin and difficult to follow, but what spy movie isn't?

7/10

Good point. ::big grin:: I guess some spy films have plots that are not thin, but are all the more hard to follow.

I think New Nightmare is more ... horror like. Freddy is more dark here and there are really scary moments in this one. I think is the second best, imho.
