Didnt you find the ending pretty obvious? It did catch me off guard a bit, but I had the general concept down right from when we kept hearing stuff "He's not going to make it" or "I didnt move the body". I think it was pretty cheap of them though to point to, as Noctuary put it, "a Fight Club style ending" in many places. When Gosling and MacGreggor are fighting and their positions keep interchanging for example...thats the only thing that threw me off of the ending, it made me thing that it was MacGreggor who was in the crash. Dont get me wrong, I thought the movie was decent, but really obvious ending IMO.

nope - i didnt see it coming at all ... i was too caught up in the movie ... i found it very stylish and compelling.
I wasnt going to watch it - i was just checking to see if it - ahem - burned ok. ended up watching the whole thing.
It reminded me of Jacob's Ladder more than anything ..

Ultimate Avengers: The Movie DVD

Actually I liked this a lot!

The only problem I had with it was that it moved way too quickly from point to point--would've been better if it'd been paced just a little slower. There were many sad and thoughtful moments that might have been really profound if the audience had had a little more time to think about them. Otherwise, a very entertaining story.

I love that movie. I don't know how many times I watched that in college under the influence of something. The animation is poor by todays standards, but the stories hold up well.

I have seen these movies recently:

Eight Below - 8.5/10
The Godfather - 12/10
Hostel - 7.5/10 A 10 for gore and a 10 for T & A
North Country - 8/10
Fun with Dick and Jane - 6/10

I really enjoyed Layer Cake,it's packed with top-notch actors,a good script and compelling story. It's most certainly not Snatch or Lock Stock but rather a straight forward drama more akin to Sexy Beast.Daniel Craig is good as the lead(I'm pretty sure this film in particular sealed his new "Bond" title) and Sienna Miller...well she is quite nice to look at.

In my opinion definitely worth the rental fee or the cost of buying it for that matter.

On a bit of a side note:the director(can't remember his name)was the original choice to replace Bryan Singer after he left X-Men 3.

I just found that interesting.
