I recently watched the first two episodes of Black Mirror, I have to say I had really mixed feelings about it. What's your take on the show? Is it supposed to be like dark satire?

I guess it's about (futuristic) technology and what it can do to people and society. Sometimes it can be funny, sometimes dramatic, sometimes both.
I'd keep watching. It's something different every time so there might be an episode you like.

Watching a fair bit of tv at the minute:

The Walking Dead
Black Mirror: 3 episodes of season 3 so far, Nosedive has to be one of the most dystopian futures I've seen (especially as its potentially how society could go).
Mr Robot: second season took a while to get going but still quality viewing.
The Expanse: only 3 episodes into season 1 but I'm enjoying it so far. Took me ages to recognise the actor from The Mist was in it.
Z Nation: I gave it 4 episodes, its shit. Not going to waste any more time on this one.
