HATED Of Mice and Men? Surely you jest..... ;) Steinbeck is one of my favorite writers, and East of Eden is one of my favorite books, for what it is worth.

Right now I am reading Don of the Dead by Casey Daniels. A cutesy mystery; and yes, I picked it up because of the title....:p

It's really good to see you here again Jenna!:)

Hi there Nova! Its been awhile, good to see you as well. :)

Just started The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillippa Gregory. Not bad, a historical novel that centers around Mary Boleyn, who I know next to nothing about, considering her sister Anne's story tends to overshadow hers (hence the title). I did know Henry supposedly had an affair with her before his marriage to Anne. That man sure did get around.

Ahhh, I always knew you were into those kinky novels...yeah yeah, play it off like the man got around...yet read all about his naughty antics with that other BOLEYN girl ;) BWAH! Make sure you let me borrow it when you're done.

Hmm, I'm thinking of reading that book "THE SECRET"...my mom just started and can't put it down. I get the impression it's a self-help book of sorts, teaching you positive thinking or something ;) I call bullshit, but I haven't exactly read it yet so I won't jump to conclusions...even though I think I just did ;) Anyone read this?

"Knowledge" eh? That's what they're calling it now-a-days? ;) Ah yes, never hurts to educate oneself I suppose ;) Like I said, I'll need to borrow that.

Yeah, I know...I think I'll get much more satisfaction out of laughing at her for reading it, rather than reading it myself. Or maybe I'll just read it b/c really...what else have I got to do? ;)

Okay, OKAY....;) I am not sure how much it is educating me, as it probably has very little to do with reality and is more about how she wishes it would have happened..... That's the beauty of a historical novel. But it is actually a subject I know a little about, because I find it a particularly interesting time period.

I am also reading Emerald Magic: Great Tales of Irish Fantasy edited by Andrew Greely.
