This last episode was fantastic...

[SPOILERS]

EEEEE! Two more horror tropes in the first ten minutes! Deformed son in the attic AND ROSEMARY'S TWINS?! Love it.

This show just keeps impressing me - I'm absolutely hooked. My biggest issue is having to wait a week to watch the next episode.

[/SPOILERS]

And I agree what everyone's said about Dylan McDermit being a horrible doctor - Oh, he will definitely get his comeuppance, and with this week him reaching out to Tait in an effort to connect with his daughter... Really sweet.

Yeah me too! The last three episodes have really sucked me into it.

Is this rating well in the states? Hoping it gets more than one season.

I think the ratings are pretty good stateside.
A couple weeks ago, FX confirmed a second season:

I have to re-watch last weeks episode.... i totally fell asleep

So after one episode i decided to not even bother watching anymore. I have way too many shows to watch that i'm really behind on and not enough time to watch those which i'm actually interested in. I'm not gonna force myself to watch a show that i really am not interested in at all. I just couldnt stand the characters and the acting and the pacing. It sucks because i really wanted to like it and was going to give it more of a chance. Maybe someday i'll go back to it and check it out.

Have to admit, I wasn't crazy about this past episode. I thought it really interrupted the velocity the show seems to have. It felt like it was just walking around in circles. There were some really cool scenes, but there was just way too much retread over already-established plot points and even gave us completely useless information (i.e. how the suit was acquired).

I agree to some extent, though how they're driving Vivien Harmon crazy is absolutely breaking my heart! Plus the deaths of the gay couple broke my heart a little too.

So in terms of The Suit, I feel as though we pretty much surmised on here that it was Tate who had sex with her, but Mark thought it was a pretty twisted little reveal - I guess since I had already assumed it was Tate, it wasn't much of a reveal for me... But Mark thought it was pretty creepy.

REALLY stupid question: The scene where Hayden is having sex with the guy and then stabs him and he's OK... Who is that? I couldn't place it... Was it Constance's husband that she shot?

Yeah, the reveal was disappointing, since like you said, we'd all assumed it was Tate anyway. The scenes with Vivien going crazy were really well-done.

That's what I assumed, too. I don't really remember what Constance's husband looked like, but I couldn't think of anyone else it could be.

I was hoping for something more sinister to do with the suit i.e someone other than Tate. I was expecting some sort of twist because I thought they were just fooling everyone that it was Tate by making it so obvious. I was hoping he just borrowed it for Halloween and there was a more powerful darker entity behind the suit.

Yeah, definitely. Same here.
