Nice hauls, all three of you.
Its a real shame we dont have such offers and sales around these parts (heck I am lucky to even get some Criterion stuff!), and it sounds like a blast. Barnes & Noble seriously need to think about setting shop somewhere in India. Even if it was a 1000 miles away I d be frequenting it once a week. Anyway, happy watching. Waiting to read all your opinions. |
I'll be a review-posting machine soon V!

I'm almost all the way through the Red Shoes (very impressed thus far), so I will have a review in the next day or so and then onto Viridiana! :)

A very enthusiastic bump.
Man, I thought I'd never see this sale again, let alone only months after the last one: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/holida...linkid=1503673 Rejoice! Picked up Down by Law and Pandora's Box today. |
Most likely to compete against Walmart, Target and Amazon for the holiday shopping dash. You guys are so lucky!

***BUMP***
Criterion makes the best DVDs and Blu-rays. Their transfers are impeccable and their special features are fascinating. When you pay the $35-$40 for a Criterion Collection movie, you’re paying a premium but you’re getting your money’s worth. But wouldn’t it be great if you could just pay half of that? Barnes & Noble is having a special sale where ALL Criterion Collection movies that are currently in print are 50% off their list price!!! (which is what they normally sell for) You probably won’t find another sale like this for probably at least a year so if you’ve been waiting to buy a particular Criterion DVD or Blu-ray, now’s the time!! I swear Barnes and Noble has this sale to celebrate when I'm too broke to buy DVDs even at half price. It never fails.
