We still need votes in this match.

My guess would be.... Because it's full of obscure albums that not more than 3-5 people are familiar with.

Throw up Nevermind vs. Appetite for Destruction and watch the votes roll in.

Elvis_Christ 03-10-2009 09:12 PM

Whatever. Everything in the tournament thus far has been far from obsucre.

There is only about 3-5 people that vote in all the tournaments on the board.

Not that the bands are obscure to the point that no one has ever heard of them, but the albums are obscure to the point that people aren't familiar with them enough to cast a vote. I'm an avid music listener, but I've personally only sat down and listened to probably 3-4 of these albums in their entirety even once and I've never even heard of The Pogues.

I'm telling you... If the albums were more mainstream, the votes would come. They need to be albums that everyone is familiar with or people aren't gonna vote. Stuff like Thriller, Abbey Road, In Utero, Dookie, Nevermind the Bullocks..., Appetite for Destruction, And Justice for All, The Chronic, Doggystyle..... Albums that don't need the artists name attached to them and people still recognize them. Those are the ones that would inspire more voting.

Just my 2 cents. I am not knocking this tournament. Feel free to run it how you see fit Disease. I am simply giving my opinion in response to the question from Zero posed a few posts up.

I'm pretty suprised you have never heard of the Pogues actually.

I'm just going to leave this match alive untill there is a result, these albums are not obscure, they are classic albums, it will run it's course.
