Loved Mario Bava's 1974 Rabid Dogs, a dirty gritty film with numerous great scenes. Bloody. I thought I'd check out this French remake and it didn't come close. The cinematography was lovely, that's about it.

Just gave it another watch as not only it's been a very slow month(s) for newer releases of horror movies but also...lately thinking to make a music video out of it for my youtube channel! ::danger:: ::wink::

I just did a detailed review of this but I think it can be summed up in one sentence - 'Sharks don't swim in shallow water'! A shark who goes against its own behavior and nature itself just to terrorize a loan person (despite an entire whale to chew on) breaks the willing suspension of disbelief concept. My partner and I rate films on a scale of 1-5 pin heads and this got 1 (reluctantly)
