Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

Basically the same plot of the first film with some alterations. The 'bro' brother was irritating as fuck. Not necessarily the actor, but the character. There was some cool effects, but the way characters reacted to some of them did not make sense. Also the parents hovering over their daughter to protect her was inconsistent. Acting was meh. Dialogue meh. I was able to finish it so it wasn't terrible, but I would not recommend it.

3/10

London Has Fallen (2016)
C/D
First one reminded me of Die Hard. This one of Die Hard 2 as it's not as good as the first one either.

Capturing the Friedmans (2003)

http://i63.tinypic.com/dcfnzd.jpg

In the late 80s the father of three grown sons & respected computer and music teacher Arnold Friedman came under investigation after the U.S. Postal Service intercepted a magazine of child pornography that he received from the Netherlands. Following a sting operation where they found a collection of child pornography, the authorities began to suspect Arnold for sexual abuse of the minor-aged male students of his computer classes, which he held in the basement of the family home.

A pretty compelling & disturbing documentary. Recommended.

Very mediocre but passable Slasher.

Saw The Darkness last night. Meh. I'm glad the tickets were free. I didn't hate it like I did Unfriended. But, it was.....OK.

Actually, the "vegetation" that took over the house was bloated, slimy and looked rotten. You felt that the house must have stunk to high heaven. The scientist was one of these guys who hated what man had done to mother earth, but he just ended up creating an abomination.
