TBH until now had paid no attention to this film, it seemed almost sacrilegious! Knowing now that Raimi and Campbell are overseeing the whole venture changes everything for me...

I'm glad they took out the Ash character, no one could do a better performance than Bruce did. I like that they are taking the humor out of it, it has the potential to be really frightening. I am tired of all of the remakes but this is one I will check out.

Yeah...it may be a complete spook-fest but the trailer did one good thing to me...brought me back to Raimi's original cabin for some moments where I had one of the creepiest encounters & plenty of greatest chills of horror cinema for the very first time in my life back in those beautiful childhood days.
