Looks like mixed reviews... no one's saying it's terrible, but no one's saying it's good. I guess I'll have to go with no expectations tomorrow. I'm seeing it in 3D tomorrow at a matinee showing.

This verdict will be make or break for me. Thanks for going.

I'm usually not picky at all about remakes. I don't care how they compare to the original; all I care about is if it's good on its own. I'll bring up if it can't escape the shadow of the source material, but it won't affect my opinion much.

Holy crap, it's at a 50 on RT. That's way higher than I expected!!

Bloody-Disgusting says it's good and works well as a stand alone film. I trust them so I am in.

It not be scary like original possible but i tell now it have more intelligence. The Freelings not poor and credit sick like new family. They can move out easy to safety but new family can not. And new dad drunky so he not go to police, fear that police accuse him of something.
