Yes the fourth visionary director in the series - so much going on in AR.

City of Lost Children was a bit hard going, but very nice to look at.

After all that happened with Alien 3 (including the much publicised interference by the studios, swapping of directors, scripts, changes galore), it was a relief to see Jean Pierre Jeunet get his say in the 4th installment. And he didnt disappoint, IMO.

I recently downloaded all the (possible) scripts for Alien 3 which were written back then. Some of them were ludicrous, some really good. The best one had to be the one written by William Gibson, to be directed by Ridley Scott.

(be sure to read the convo between Bishop and Hicks at the climax)

Back to the topic of this thread, I loved all the jap Godzilla movies. Those were some interesting vs titles, like vs Mothra, vs Mechgodzilla, even vs King Kong. bleh, I loved em! :D

The Remains of the Day...everyone who watched it with me was bored beyond hell, but for some reason I liked it. The butler's point of view, aptly done by Anthony Hopkins...
