Yes the first cartoon was with a dinosaur. But the first animation....was really early, I'm gonna do a little more studying then I'll tell you.

Wel the guy who probley invented animation was Frenchman Emil Reynaurd in 1877. He invented a machine called the Praxinscope and in 1882 he combined the use of the Praxinscope with a projector. Thomas Edison invented movies in 1891 and Frenchman Georges Melies made the 1st horror movie 5 years later in 1896.

Hammer comes back from the dead

Hi people,

As some of you may be aware we are a film production company that has just entered into an agreement with Hammer Film Productions to start making Hammer films again.

At present we are fund raising with a view to start production on the first film in April.

We'd love to hear from you to find out what you would want from a modern Hammer film, do you want to see remakes of the old classics or a more up-to-date horror such as The Grudge or Saw?

If any of you are interested in investing in these new films (and we know how flush with cash you all are) then you can get more information from our web site
http://www.harvestpictures3.co.uk

We'll also check back here for your response.

Hope to hear from you soon.

No

"up-to-date"

There are other territories - if you can recognise them (and we're not going to tell you what they are), perhaps you will knock out some decent movies.

Peace.

I wouldnt mind seen a remake of the Creature from the Black Lagoon. but instead of the girl jumping in the lagoon in her swim suit in a remake she should go skinny dipping.
