if i'm having a drink or two i'm either out with friends or at my place with friends ..

if we're at my place we're having dinner, a couple of drinks then sitting around shooting the shit - probably watching a movie later.

I cant see myself getting slowly hammered while chatting on a computer.
(even when i was more of a drinker)

I've always been a social drinker either way ..

Well now, "getting slowly hammered while chatting on a computer" isn't quite the same as just sitting "in front of a PC drunk"...I have come home from the club a little wasted, checked my e-mails, and maybe even posted here a time or 2...But, I NEVER drink at home...Seriously...Not ever...

Actually, Friday night I was on AIM WHILE I was AT the club (yes, they DO have computers at the clubs)...lol...That was pretty damned funny...I had signed on to check on the kids, but 4 people popped in while I was online...One of them even got to chat with a drag queen...lol...Damn, I was wasted then, too....

i cant really relate i guess ...

i only go to clubs to see bands and i only have a couple there too ..
once i'm into the band i dont want to be bothered going for a beer.

the ultimate reason though is that i do the driving .. and downtown is a long way away.
I definately am not a believer in drinking and driving..

i think i might be leaving also cause it is pretty lame.....but I will stop by once and awhile

I LOVE the music, but hanging out with friends and dancing is really why I go...The drinking part is actually a new thing for me (2 months now)...So, I'm just having fun with it, and Sergio is all hung up on EQ2 now, so I get rides from others when he's too busy or if I want to get there early, because when he picks me up after he gets off work, it's almost midnight...I will NOT drink and drive :)

Agreed...It's bad enough that they don't give a damn that they put THEMSELVES in danger...But, they also endanger the lives of every other innocent person on the road...And sometimes my kids are out there...

Did Sam the Egg and SFF leave? This forum did used to be really fun. I was just going to start posting regularly again and then I find out everybody is leaving.:(

also if someone could fill me in, why were Sam and Evis banned?

dont know why they got banned but they didnt leave just made new names i think =/ STE
