I was sick this weekend. All of these were first-timers except Sin City which I've seen 1,000,000 times.

-Escape from New York

-High Sierra (w/ my favorite actor- Humphrey Bogart)

-Kramer vs. Kramer (GREAT movie)

-The Fly (1958)

-Return of the Fly (1959)

-Sin City

The Legend of Zorro......not bad....it was a Zorro movie, nothing more.Could have used a little more sword play.

Corpse Bride....half of it...turned it off....it didn't have the same magic as Nightmare b4 x-mas.Plus i was tired.....i will give it another chance.

thats weird ...

i watched corpse bride ,,, then checked out the Legend of Zorro ..
watched the begining to check the quality...

i liked corpse bride ... it wasnt as strong as Nightmare - and the songs weren't as good (except for Victors theme which was very nice) but it was as visually rich. I find that style of animation very watchable ..

the 'live world' scenes would be hard to take when tired as they were very drab and dreary ..

i know it was pretty obvious but i still got a kick out of the way the land of the living was all grey tones and the land of the dead was vibrant with colour ..
