Amityville Awakening confirmed for an April 15, 2016 release!

tfantasy 05-28-2015 07:53 AM

Things are finally falling into place; new home will be completely moved into this weekend and I have a new job job starting on Monday (direct hire, great pay, good benefits, vacation already, holiday pay already).

It's been a very long, hard road for me and I'm finally feeling good about myself and my life......

Now, if I can just get over being sick (stress does that to ya) ::roll eyes::

MichaelMyers 05-28-2015 08:17 AM

Just had a nightmare, I went to see the new Poltergeist and this started playing on loop in the theatre:

::wink::Good ta hear your doin' better TF!

Roiffalo 05-29-2015 01:23 AM

So many great things happened today, with new Amity and tf's news... and then poor MichaelMyers. XD
Worst part of the movies. Being stuck listening to the crap they insist on playing before the movie starts. Depending on the movie and how long it's been out I like to go early to get a good seat and cause I haaaaate missing a single second of a movie. That makes for a lot of time of listening to radio with very few songs I actually care for.

But hey I got fish today! And all 4 Tremors in one pack. I say today was a win.

I watched all the Saw movies because I've been sick for the past few days. I never realized how awesome Saw 6 is... it's definitely one of the best Saw sequels. I'd rank them 1, 2, 6, 3, 4, 5, 7. I used to say Saw III was the best, but after watching it again, there were way too many flashbacks.

I hope they had a therapeutic effect.

::confused::So I been wonderin'....
To what degree does Horror darken your lens of perception?
I mean I feel as that I'm optimistic and all....bt sometimes.....an attitude of pessimism abounds. Towards lots of things...

My wife sometimes calls us Mr. Pessimist and Mrs. Optimist::big grin::
I always laugh and say my bad too many horror books and films....

Now let me say that's there's NO such thing as too much Horror! Y'all with me?
I see Horror as a vice which I adore, feed accordingly, and share in certain circles.

I mean if yer gettin' outta bed everyday yer an optimist right?

So I was wonderin what Y'all had goin' on under the dome on that tip.

This makes me think of a topic I considered starting. My parents and anyone who knows my love for horror thinks I'm a bad acid trip away from becoming a serial killer or something. But if anything, horror makes me realize that the world isn't as bad as it could be. Now watching something like 'Leave it to Beaver' and coming back to the real world. That shit is depressing. You compare the two and of the two, reality is terrifying.

Thus it's been my philosophy that; when you surround yourself in darkness, it's easier to see the light.

On a random note, anyone else been undermined to the point of just unexplainable rage when someone claims they know more about a subject you're HIGHLY knowledgeable in? It's very grating. -_-

3 glasses of wine and I'm tanked! Sucks getting old!

horcrux2007 06-05-2015 06:15 PM

I turn 15 on Wednesday! I plan on getting some new horror movies as well as a few other things.

Roiffalo 06-06-2015 12:15 AM

^ Good luck with that, Horcrux. I hope your parents are more supportivei n your hobbies. Everytime I put anything related horror on my list, my parents completely look them over. ...And my birthday is in OCTOBER, so it's the ideal time of year to find these!
