Me: Instead of a remake of the Blob how about an adaptation of Rex Miller's The Slob? H'm? Something original for a change, maybe?

Not as stupid as saying "R.E.C.". Because that makes sense and all.

Like all remakes, Rob Zombie is doing it because he is getting paid more than if he were to make his own original movies. But I do understand wanting to change the concept of the blob, I mean if Jello came at me, I would just walk away. No fear, nothing. So maybe it will be darkened and stealthier. That's usually how they do it. I'm intrigued.
