as long as you accept that my opinion is the only correct one - everything will be just fine :D

too cool for that - a lot more going on besides a disgruntled goofball stabbing sex-minded teens.

I tend to agree that it is a bit smarter and more original than the majority of them. I like slasher films, but so many of them are just more of the same. ANOES wasn't. But in my opinion, it still qualifies as a slasher.

I felt like they were trying too hard to be funny and dramatic.
It almost seems like they are trying to copy a certain film cocktail and failing to ...

I just can't think of a good was of explaining it....

Like they were trying to copy the old 60s movies, like the ones with Doris Day and Rock Hudson, and failed?

Not quite
It seems like after they made 4 weddings and a furneral- a ton of movies started showing up with the same 'let's hire a bunch of well-known english actors' ,and it doesn't matter what the story is about.

Me too. I liked the British 60s comedies, too - like Alfie.

I like....
Bruce Campbell!!!!! ;)
Benicio Del Toro
Edward Norton
James Dean
Kevin Spacey
Johnny Depp
Christian Bale
Mickey Rourke
Robert Downey Jr.
Michael Caine
Don Cheadle
Frances McDormand
Natalie Wood
Ingrid Bergman
Shirley MacLaine
Cate Blanchett
Ellen Burstyn

Oh yes, Christian Bale in "American Psycho"? A classic performance. As for Bruce Campbell, I'm such a fan that I read both of his books!
