Between myself and my lady, we'll probably go out to dinner, take in a movie, and chill.
Buy some pirated dvds and games for eachother.., get some cookwear n stuff...and grab any lil' trinkets that interest us at the time.
And consider that to be eachothers gifts.

My family doesn't really "do" the christmas thing, but my mother, brother and I might hook up and do lunch, have a bit of a gathering kinda thing...same again with my girls family.

Nothing so tangible I desire, only peace.

I AGREE W/ CREEPER ABOUT VALENTINES DAY SO I SAY HUMBUG AND PROTEST BUY WEARING BLACK. I KNOW HAVE A BF THIS THAT CARES ABOUT ME MORE THEN THE LAST DID SO HE DOESN'T NEED VALENTINES DAY TO TELL ME HE LOVES ME.....HE ALREADY HAS IN LOTS OF WAYS. NOT TO GET ALL MUSHY BUT I THINK ME HAVING HIS KID WHICH WILL B A FIRST FOR BOTH OF US IS I LOVE U ENUFF SO I DON'T NEED A STINKING CARD OR CANDY, THE BABY IS ENUFF FOR ME. SO BAH HUMBUG VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AGREE X MAS MAKES ME BROKE. I CAN SEE A BIRTHDAY ITS ONLY ONE PERSON BUT XMAS ITS A SHIT LOAD OF FAMILY. AND W/ HAVING TO SAVE MONEY RIGHT NOW X MAS SUX.

THERE IS STUFF I WANT FOR XMAS I USALLY GET MAYB ONE THING I ASKED FOR AND THE REST IS STUFF I DIDN'T ASK FOR BUT I STILL LIKE

HERES A FEW THINGS I WANT:

AND MAYB SOME BABY STUFF

Gren the cake 12-05-2004 07:20 PM

woah, that capslock is a tad bit painful . LOL

neways. i dont think its about 'prove to someone that u love them by spending money/time on valentines day'

its just a little incentive. i mean think, it would be a bit boring if we didnt have ANY holidays, birthdays..

i say yeh u should do little things year round, but why not have a little fun. its nice to have a theme and some colors, and just to be cute...

(this is Fluff btw :))

and having a healthy baby is a good idea.

I'll be the first to agree that Christmas is overblown and waaay to commercial. Its never gonna change......its all about the money. But ya kinda hafta look at it in a different perspective...after all...thats what life is all about..perspectives.

You turn on the TV or open a newspaper and what do you have, war, murder, death, Britney........its enough to make anybody crazy. So if I can take a couple of weeks out of the year and try to forget all the other bullshit, and yes, spend a few dollars....if that what it takes...greedy bastards....so be it.

So for all you naysayers I say HO HO HO.
