That totally grossed me the fuck out lmao. It's hard enough to stay away from one small penis, but 5 *shivers*. One that's just above average is fine lol

My List of the Best Remakes:

1. The Ring
2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
3. Dawn of the Dead
4. Thirteen Ghosts
5. The Grudge
6. House on Haunted Hill
7. Night of the Living Dead
8. The Stepford Wives (not a scary movie, but a good remake.)

(that's all I can think of.)

I thought Dawn of the Dead was an excellent remake.. It's at the top of my Christmas list!

I think we have to differentiate between 'remake' .. and 'new version'.

Remake suggests that there is going to be an improvement on the origional.
Maybe thats why most people hate them

I think of them as new versions. Inspired by the origional but by no means an attempt to be a new improved version of the origional.

what this particular director would have done given the framework.

if you look at it this way ... then it makes it easier to like them.
Dawn of the Dead, and Savini's Night of the Living Dead movies get my vote in that light ..

Yeah, good point! ^^

IMO I can only think of one movie that I would say was 'remade' and that was "Psycho". It was redone, pretty much line for line and shot for shot.

I would say that was a remake of the original, as mentioned above, all others I would call 'new versions'.
