I ended up using a blow dryer to melt the adhesive and then a product called "Oops" to remove the residue. I hate those stupid circular stickers in the center. I think I screwed up with Aqua Teen though because it seems like the movie always starts with subtitles on. Not a big deal but annoying.

Yah- heat is not good for DVDs.

A bunch of mine always start with subtitles like the MGM discs I've got and the older Universal stuff. My player is pretty shit tho I really need to grab a new one.

The right amount will melt the adhesive but won't harm the disc. :)

Hair dryer on low and patience will work, maybe like Elvis said it's my crappy old dvd player, who knows. Either way, the other discs all look and play like new now.
