Bad Milo
...I probably liked this movie more than I should have. What can I say though. It was well put together for such a silly idea. And Patrick Warburton. Patrick Warburton is always a delight.

THE FRANKENSTEIN THEORY 2013

On a bit of a Frankie kick lately. I thoroughly enjoyed this found-footage of a young man searching for what he truly believes to be the Frankenstein monster.

You should check out Frankenstein's Army. It's on Netflix and is super entertaining. ::smile::

I liked it too. It's not a masterpiece or anything, and it does have a bit of a video game feel by the end of the film, but I got some laughs out of it. Terrific creature designs as well!

Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings (2011)
Worst one so far (or maybe just the most boring one).
Halfway through I lost interest, put on my laptop and left the movie on in the background.
But it wasn't all bad. There was a cool stabbing scene, the ending was good for a laugh and the location. The old psychiatric hospital was the best thing about this movie and would have made a great location for another movie. But not for this one.
Overal an average movie with the usual blood, gore and boobs.

Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines (2012)
I like this one. It was quite alright. Especially for a fifth part in a series.
This time they went with a less serious tone and it definitely made the movie more enjoyable. Everything else was slightly better too compared to the previous ones.
Cast was just ok but not annoying either. Story was simple but good. The special effects and the gore were decent. Lots of brutal and bloody kills.
So if you're in for a little mindless gory fun, you might like this.

I am not a huge fan of horror-comedy, there's only a select few that I truly enjoyed: Black Sheep, Shaun of the Dead, Bruce Campbell's famous trio, Cabin in the Woods are the ones that come to mind right now.

I want to be scared and the last time a movie scared me was when I was 12 yrs old and I watched The Exorcist by myself at like 3am in the total dark. I keep hoping that something will eventually show up and give me at least a little scare. These days, I think most horror movies just entertain me. There has been a few that have given me the chills and that's a plus!!

Maybe I'm so accustomed to seeing extreme horror these days that very little gets to me. ::confused::

The only horror-comedies (or just horror that doesn't take itself very seriously) that I like are The Loved Ones, Evil Dead sequels, Cabin Fever, Scream, Drag Me to Hell and Slither. A little more than 1 or 2 but I don't know how to count.
