This game is pretty shit. I had hoped for a moderately challenging, Resident Evil type on the Wii but the controls are crap and there is alot of aimless wandering without a map to find your way. Also, whenever you're about to battle a spirit they have a cut scene lead into it so there are no shocks or surprises. |
NHL 10
Getting too old for this new controller shit... |
Fifa 10
Demon's Souls |
Mount & Blade
$5.00 was a steal for this one, it's like Pirates! in Medieval times. |
Played through "shadow complex".
Those with a 360 - this one's worth the download cost - it's like oldskool revamped. Simple. Very fun. Few good boss fights. Hope they make a sequel. I've been playing a fair bit of "Rocky Legends" which I have to say is one of the most fun Multiplayer VS games I've ever played - you have such beefy fights in it...right now just playing mindlessly in single player to try unlock everyone, there's like 40 boxers up in there! |
Super Mario World for SNES.
One of my roommates just brought his SNES up from home. I think we all know who just became my favourite roommate. |
Disgaea (DS)
Funny, deep (traveling into weapons to level them is amazing), and a blast to play. What other game has an angel saying, "Nice to meet you, I'm an assassin."? |
Borderlands
Great game.If you where a fan of Fallout 3 then you'll really like thuis game. |

Great to hear. Ordered it friday. :) |
Just blew through Dead Space and loved it! Thinking about picking up Resident Evil 5, but the mixed reviews have me a little leery.
Also considering playing through The Suffering and sequel again. All-time best game is Worms: Armageddon and I've been playing that for years now. http://bombmatt.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/worms.jpg |
Fallout 3
- Broken Steel - The Pitt - Point Lookout - Mothership Zeta The auto-axe from The Pitt is an absolute kick-ass weapon!! :D Reminds me of the plasma cutter in Dead Space. |
Well my x-box 360 is being fixed by Microsoft right now so I have dusted off my PS2.

Continuing to obsess over Requiem. Best mmorpg i've ever played. (Beats WOW by a long shot, and is just a step above 2 Moons). Finally pushing into high levels and becoming an all out bad ass.

Good to know. Thanks, Guys. It's not that I have anything against FSP's... I'm just really REALLY bad at them, so I need an interesting story or setting to get me through (or something like VATs in Fallout 3)... Bioshock, for example, I LOVED, but completely sucked on the shooter end of things. And, well, Des has witnessed me play Left 4 Dead. I'll save my money on "Borderland." The boyfriend might decide to pick it up, though, so at least I'll be able to try it out without paying for it. :D ... Tried Sacred II today. Considering that this is a game for the 360/PS3 consoles, I find it a bit disapointing. Doesn't really do a lot for the grenre that hasn't been done by Diablo II YEARS ago... The UI is overly-complicated and confusing and I find it lame that you can't trade with people unless you're playing with them live, and that all loot is pre-allocated when you're playing with other players... Diablo II and Balder's Gate did it better. Still enjoying Crystal Chonicles, though. Simple. Cute. Looking forward to Bioshock II and Dragonage for my more "complicated" games... Will probably get the boyfriend Left 4 Dead II for his Birthday in January. |
"Assasins Creed 2" PS3
That's one of the longest and most boring intros i've ever played. Slowly starting to get fun tho. |
Well, myself and the chick recently acquired a couple of Nintendo DS's, and got these cool little devices called DSTTs for 'em, so I've had a fair few games to look at.
First of all, I don't think FPS games work on this system...at all...then there's the pissy versions of the games that come out on 360/wii/PS3, those are not really much good either, though the exclusives to DS are really quite good. Using the stylus thingy is a bit annoying in some cases (prince of persia...click-to-go-here system) but not nearly as annoying as I thought it would be, and quite clever/intuitive in some other games, eg cooking mama. I'm looking forward to playing the continuation of one of my favourite series, the title being "mario vs donkey kong 2" which is the third game starting with the gameboy/gameboy colour version of Donkey Kong, which if I haven't mentioned it is one of my favourite puzzle themed games ever. Though, I'm leaving that one be for a while. I saw a trailer of the game I've been getting into a while back, and I'm having a fair bit of fun playing it. Called "Lost in Blue", and is apparently a spiritual sequel to a series of games "stranded kids" featuring on earlier systems...though nothing to do with them really aside from theme, that being "Lost on a pretty much deserted island". You have to forage for food, keep yourself warm, fed etc, while exploring the island, hunting for food (spear fishing with the stylus is difficult but fun), managing resources, building things, and basically staying alive. It's not an easy game though..."learn by dying", I'm just about to start the game from the beginning for the third time. Though, it's a fun game and keeps you wanting more. It's a bit like...Ico meets zelda. |

I have Moon and Dementium.
Not played either yet...but yeah the version of COD4 they had on there didn't look so great, and yeah you had to control it by using one hand on the left/right of the DS and one with the stylus...I honestly doubt my "ability" in a combat situation if this is the only control scheme available. What other DS titles have you got into? |
Left 4 Dead 2.
Just like a polished version of the first one. Haven't played through all the campaigns yet, but the few I have played are quality. The new special infected are cool too. |

VERY slowly.. |
Here I am with 100+ ds games, and I'm still just stuck on "Lost in Blue".
It's even a bit BORING haha, survival crap...but, something's hooked me to want to finish it. Though I had a quick look at "wireway", nice looking bouncy puzzler. Also the sonic games on the ds are IMO the first time since the 16-bit era that a sonic game has felt remotely familiar, like, what if they advanced the game in ways OTHER than 3d... |
Ha ha wimps!
I'm playing
Alone in the dark (ALL) Doom 3 (nightmare difficulty) resident evil 1-5 and code veronica X and 0 remake (ALL IN HARD DIFFICULTY) condemned 2 (OH YA!!!) :D :D :D :D  |
