Medusa....

Lillith without a doubt.

Medusa.....
|
I remember Boris Vallejo's painting of Lilith looked extremely gorgeous...similarities can be so vague sometimes...:p
Tough choice. I d go with Medusa, because of that lovely head. |
My vote goes to the lovely succubus
|
Lilith.
Moving on? |
Yup. This thread was buried so fast, I didn't even realize that V had responded. Plus, I thought that Vod was... I'm assuming he still works here...
Anyway, I was wondering if you guys had any themes you'd like to see? I'm going to do a James Bond Villain theme. I know that at some point, I'm going to throw some very vile bad-asses at you from various types of media, and I mean, these are going to be the people... who never really die they just leave the place and come back meaner. You know. But that's later. There are a lot of ways this could go. I'd like some feedback, so that I may better entertain you. |
How about the medical field? An evil doctor vs. an evil nurse (Ratched would be perfect).
|
what about banshee vs evil druid?
|
Ferret, there's not really an evil bean sidhe because it isn't in their nature as fairies to be evil.
However, while you guys are thinking, I just gonna throw some funny stuff out. They are villains, but... (My Thanks to Rod Usher for the inspiration and the suggestions!) Richard Nixon (He's with Elvis, how bad could it have been?) Well, he did pull the US out of Vietnam "peacefully" and "honorably" and proceded to sack Cambodia, who was nuetral. Then he did bring about the establishment of the EPA and other really useful groups...that never got or really get any support. Then there was Watergate. Basically, he ran his mouth to the wrong people. He admitted (or is said to have admitted- some people still don't by it all) to stealing money from the democratic party, threatening the Democrats to ensure his political success. He was even trying to have people, a colomist for one, assasinated. Nixon was a fairly smart dude. By the way, a lot of the dickheads working for Nixon, are now working for... http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...ixon-elvis.jpg President Georgie W. Where to start...? Where to end?? Runs with right wing nut jobs so advocated that faith based charities receive more aide from the Government, gives children going to religious (Christian) schools more money. Post 9/11 we find that they knew something very bad was going to happen, but didn't move to stop it. Used that event for going to War in Iraq (getting Hussein was good), is an oil tycoon so doesn't give a shit if the oil prices rise all over the world, hell, probably takes weekends to Saudia Arabia to celebrate another trillion dollars made for every person who actually has to drive. Screwed the whole Iraq war up, we're stuck, their stuck, and Iran is after nu-q-lear weapons. The list....stretchs on and on...And I hear the Feds a' comin.' http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...dent20Bush.jpg |
I say...
'78 Cylon vs Neo-Cylon ... |
Okay, there's a definitive re-rebeginning. Cylons are actual characters/entities other than shitty US presidents (which no on voted on anyway).
So, we'll begin with Cylons and NeoCylons (from Battlestar Galactica). The only thing I remember about the original version is Lauren Greene and that Noah kid and his little dog. So, I did some research... Cylons: Now, originally, they were created as robotic workers. You see, they're sort of cyborgs but different. There are different types of these things, but from what I've come to understand, they want to get rid of humans. So, some of them even look human. In the old series, they could kind of look human, but a trained eye could tell the difference. This is your old version. Sure, they were big metal and kicked butt. There were many that were essentially the ship. They were stationary units that were humanoid, but perfectly maintained the operations of the ship. At one time, you could talk to them, but later...It wouldn't have been a good idea. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...9/oldcylon.jpg Now the new and improved versions can do much more. They can blend into human society without any notice. They have a larger variety of Cylons (I'll show you two). This new kind almost has an intelligence that isn't programmed. Centurian (warrior, laborer, guard, etc) http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...9/newcylon.jpg One of the big Cylons (Cylon 6) http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...999/Cylon6.jpg So, for this villain question, it's not the villain, but the model? Kind of like asking a James Bond fanatic, "When was Ernst Stavro Blofeld at his worst? |
The old Cylons were better, I vote for them.

BUMP!!!!!
Too much hard work to let it die. Thank you.:) |
As cool as I think the new series is (probably better'n the old one/s), I have to say I always liked the oldskool cylon troopers...'cos they had the phat soundwave style voice.
I want a voice program that has that voice... |
Old Cylon!
|
So retro!! Old cylons win hands down.
I've got something a little different now. No pictures this time. I'm only going to do two rounds like this, but I'll space them out. This time, I want you to decide which type of villain you like best. So, I'm going to describe, real concise like, two different types of villains, and you vote for your favorite type. Archenemy The archenemy is often the hero's greatest enemy. There tends to be an emotional bond between this type of enemy and the protagonist. So, this type of enemy is personal. It poses the greatest threat to the protagonist. This enemy is typically portrayed as being very dangerous and typically never dies in a series of horror books, novels, games, comics, etc. V. The Supervillain Def. They're similar, however, the supervillain tends to be more sociopathic, sadistic, works alone, (could possibly be in a group). A supervillain wants emmense power, like over the world, but why stop there... why not the universe? However, they're single minded, tending to attempt the same plans over and over the exact same way, regardless of the fact that the plans have failed... every time. |
Archenemy - love the personal angle
|
Supervillain, without knowing who the protagonist is it's hard to vote for the archenemy. The supervillain is a threat to all...
|
Archenemy.
Supervillains are awesome, but these guys have so much more to them. |
Archenemy....
|
I say Archenemy too because of the personal thing happening between them.
|
Archenemy,i like to see a great twisted relationship between villain and hero.
|
You guys nailed that. I really didn't think anyone would like that.
Archenemy wins 5 to 1 over Supervillain It would be 6 to 1 if I had a vote, which I don't. So... Time to look at girls... For starters, I decided on Batman femme fatales, because actually, I was gonna compare some one else to a Batman bitch. Didn't work out. I love her: Poison Ivy http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8.../PoisonIvy.jpg The ever classic... Cat woman (no one, but no one was better than Ursa. No one!) http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...9/Catwoman.png |
