I much like this question. Certainly makes me think. I love monster flicks. The effects and stories are such fun, and I love drawing creatures while watching them as they are so inspiring. If ''blood and gore'' is slasher type flicks then I love those too. They're entertaining to watch with their 97% predictable survivor rate. I do collect werewolf everything, so I suppose I'll have to vote supernatural.

Made me think one of my favorite horror novels. Wilding by Melanie Tem. 5 out of 5 stars if you haven't read it. Which also reminds me of Al Sarrantonio's Moonbane. Really good too. 4 out of 5 stars on that one.
Er, they're both werewolf books. : )

Both.

Well DAMN thank you, BlackMetalCarson for posting so that I saw this reply!!

I'll certainly look into those! Thanks, Boss! 8)

EDIT: Found Wilding and just sent for it! Not as lucky with Moonbane, but it's on my list.

I'm really a fan of both. The slashy gore movies are always entertaining, but in a " let's yell at the screen and not take this too seriously " sort of way. The psychological horrors are the ones that put a little scare into me these days, but as far as which I enjoy more,...I don't have a definitive answer. I just LOVE the crap out of a LOT of horror!

I like both types of films really, but the supernatural movies, specifically the ones about demon possession, scare me the most.
