You are assuming that he didn't, we are not told anything; although I presume that at some point he did know where she was - Friday 2, he has her head.

I think Friday 2 is where the explanation is needed.

When the remake of the original gets done, perhaps we'll find out. (Unless they change the whole story- I read that Jason will feature more heavily in this one and he will have a mask!)

well i'm not really assusming that he didn't go to her, she killed the people at the camp cause he was dead, if he'd gone to her she'd know he wasn't dead and not killed them.

Good point. :o

Which means there wouldn't have been the need for Friday the 13th!

Can't think of any answers for that at all. :( :(

Part 5 is awesome in every way.

(no sarcasm). Seriously.

BOO HOO. jason wasnt the real killer..boo hoo.

It was still kick ass.
Best lines in the WHOLE series.
Most Kills
Shitload of memorable characters.
Bad ass AXE scene

whats the big deal.
I bet you if this movie came out with another name, people wouldnt be so hard on it.

why was he not the real killer?!? WTF!?!? i haven't seen that yet!!! why, when, how could they do this?

Why do you realy care, It's only been out for 20 odd years and you haven't watched it, so I don't think your opinion on the matter is to important.

perhaps because i just watched 1-4 last week and haven't picked up the rest to watch yet but i plan to. and perhaps because 20 odd years ago i was 6 and only cared about cabbage patch kids not horror movies. who are you to decide why people should or should not care or to decide that one's opinion doesn't matter.

I'm just saying that if you realy gave a hoot you would have watched it by now. I watched it when I was 7.

**** spoilers ****

I think you said you've seen the first 4. The end of part 4 gives a sort of clue!

I think that the producers wanted to go for a new direction in the series as the end of 5 hints at, but the audience weren't having any of it. Some people consider it to be a dream.

But the "real" Jason and Tommy, re-appear again, in Part 6, appropriately titled "Jason Lives." My personal fave. - Here he is a lot stronger and seemingly indestructible, and there are nice touches of (dark) humour throughout.
