my bloody room is $250 a night.

worth it though - my son and wife can go off for a swim when they're bored...and it's conveniently attached to the convention.

i'll try to remember to book earlier for next year.

ours is 300 a night, but split between 4 of us and has ample room for hanging out.

yeah, should be a good time. I'm pretty excited :)
i need to get ID for sure though so I can go to the rue morgue party and see the creepshow. I dont even wanna drink, I just want to make sure I can be there.

I'm not booking until after tickets go on sale, so I can make SURE the people who say they're going are really going. I don't care if mine's a little ways from the convention as I want to check out Toronto anyway. I haven't been there in a while, only places I go are Ann Arbor and Detroit. Quick question, somebody told me you need two picture IDs to drink in Canada, true? (I'm sure I could google it but I figure you canucks would know. :) )

i have no idea,

the only time i was ever asked for id in my life was 20 years ago when i was going out with a girl at Western.

They asked everyone at a school pub - i looked at the guy and said "you have to be kidding me"

he just shrugged and let me in.

i've never had an Age of Majority card - or whatever they called those things

you need one valid picture ID with birthdate and signature. Like one of the new healthcards or your drivers lisence.

I'm afraid it doesn't look like money will work out for me to go :(

Shame...oh well, I'll be there next year for sure.

Cool, even if my US license wasn't enough I wouldn't bother getting another ID... I DO however need to find out when they're going to make us get a passport to visit you canucks.

And found.

"US citizens arriving in Canada by land or water do not need a passport until at least summer 2009. "
