Meh you...name a remake that every one can honestly that was better than 03' tcm

The Thing (1982)
Frankenstein (1931) waaay better than Edison's silent short
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)

davidd60 01-24-2007 04:19 PM

that seems to be the theme, remakes arent usually as good

I think there should be a time span enforced before something can be remade. maybe 50 years, same as copywright after you die.

davidd60 01-25-2007 04:12 PM

yeah, that might be true

alicefan 01-25-2007 04:17 PM

50 yrs. is too long, than we wouldn't have Rob's new Halloween to be looking forward too, some are good and 50 yrs. later is ridiculously long

the_real_linda 01-25-2007 04:22 PM

i think you need a long time before a remake is even needed to any certain point

I'd even go as far as to say Dawn of the Dead, The Vanishing, and King Kong.

davidd60 01-25-2007 04:35 PM

some of those are good movies
