The plotline's the same for both movies, but the Danish original has better acting, atmospheric effect and direction than the American remake. All said, both movies are worth checking out. Real nice and creepy flicks.

Well I've seen the Ewan McGregor one before without even realizing it was a remake. I'll have to check out the original though.
