If it's alright for someone to own and wear a t-shirt like that, why couldn't someone wear something that says "I hate lesbians"? If it's accepted to love something, it's just as equally right to hate it, no?
Sure - but in the case in question the loving-of-lesbians statement is probably supposed to be ironic... of course in doing so, it becomes exploitative of lesbians - as if the wearer is deliberately poking fun, and looking cool in the process.

What about when Madonna wore Britney and Kylie T-Shirts in public? Was she simply being friendly, or suggesting to her fans she could ironically promote inferior performers and cash in on the publicity it generates?

Guess if we analyse this damn T-Shirt enough we can discover why the world is going to hell in a handbasket, and possibly even the secrets of the universe...

Personally, I'd be more interested in what's underneath it - woof woof!

Who cares what somebody is wearing? Just another person looking for attention. Next time wear a shirt that says Hetero and proud of it. No one will care about that either or at least they shouldnt.

Besides its the "in" thing to be gay or better yet bisexual.

I always tell people that I am a lesbian trapped in a mans body.

its all ridiculous... i mean, i saw a shirt that said 'i <3 dick' ... and i do love dick. but im not sure i could pull that off.

tshirts are getting a little too personal with their statements. but hey, i really dont give a shit what people wear.

I think it used to be the 'in' thing in the 70's when it was a bit more shocking.

The in thing now is for straight girls to pretend they are gay or bi for the purposes of teasing .
Gay men are just looking for acceptance - as always.
