I used to have that game for PC.Still might,I'll have to look for it.Was a fun game at the time.

Posher778 07-27-2009 10:19 AM

Probably around half way through my first run of the Zelda franchises 'Phantom Hourglass' and loving it so far. The temple's could be a little tougher though... Maybe they will become harder, it's still fairly early in the game (I think.)

Despare 07-30-2009 07:29 PM

Wish I was playing Scribblenauts... I pre-ordered though so as soon as it comes out I'll be playing.

Watch toward the end to see God (on a skateboard with a shotgun) fight Cthulhu.

Caenxavier 08-01-2009 01:07 AM

My lady just acquired a bunch of old sega games, so for now it's Shining Force!

cheebacheeba 08-01-2009 01:43 AM

Man shining force is the shit, one of my, if not THE favourite top-down rpgs.

Yep...I haven't gotten far, but I cant sleep so it's videogames, movies apple spice tea and online forums. YAY!

cheebacheeba 08-01-2009 02:49 AM

GORT is the shit.

Caenxavier 08-01-2009 11:10 AM

I rather like Hans at the moment.

cheebacheeba 08-01-2009 04:47 PM

Yeah well, you'll see what I mean.
Hans is a good starter character, Gort is the old guy in the bar, might not talk to you straight away but trust me, check in until he does.
Also, asdive - don't level up your characters right away, let them continue getting more exp, if you level up as soon as you're able, they can be initially weaker in their second form.
So what, you're playing this on an actual console.

BTW - Playing the xbox remake of "conkers bad fur day".
It's an interesting game, but has some really stupid finicky shit in there too. I've fallen to my death SO many times, bad swimming levels, and areas that while completely accessible, will be useless until you've completed certain tasks...feels like a bit of a run around. That said though, it's a funny game (not sure about the n64 version for the following, but) graphically VERY nice, of moderate challenge and some interesting "boss" fights.

That is probably the coolest game I've ever seen - I'm now strongly thinking of picking up a DS.

Thanks for giving me something else to waste money on...;)

cheebacheeba 08-01-2009 06:38 PM

Very piratable system too that...no need for modifications whatsoever.
Yknow, if one were so inclined.

Yes, scribblenauts does look pretty cool...like, a sandbox platformer?
Of course I'm gonna try "piss" and "kill" "make fuck" etc etc
Maybe "black hole".
Or like...Jesus vs Allah hahaha

No, I'm playing it on an emulator. We have a console but it doesn't work.

Vodstok 08-03-2009 05:06 AM

I am currently playing Crysis. Again.

I just can't get enough of popping into a group of evil Koreans cloaked like the Predator and killing a bunch before they even realize they are being attacked.

The Mothman 08-05-2009 07:07 PM

Resident Evil 5
basically Resident Evil 4 with better graphics.

Psycom5k 08-13-2009 06:00 AM

Installing Left 4 Dead on my pc atm

cheebacheeba 08-13-2009 05:02 PM

I fucked off an xbox game called "darkwatch" which was interesting in concept, but
a: for some reason looked like a squished-in widescreen game (not the major issue)
b: It was just very repetitive.
It was ok, but got old.

I'll probably start the Scarface game next, I've done the initial level, it seems ok thus far, no real problems to speak of.

ChronoGrl 08-13-2009 06:17 PM

Just downloaded Point Lookout for Fallout 3 on the 360 (following a download of Broken Steel, so I'm able to up my character to level 30). Brilliant add-on. I feel as though I'm definitely getting my money's worth.

Hey they have been pretty good dlc's for the most part with the acception of Operation Anchorage.I haven't got Point Lookout or Mothershipe Zeta yet.

I am glad that Bethesda is consistent with releasing the dlc for this game.

I agree. This is my third DLC for this game so far; The Pitt was pretty good, though I think it was shorter/smaller than I expected it to be. I also downloaded Broken Steel - Definitely psyched that they are letting you go past Level 20. I think that that's a brilliant idea. Plus, the enemies in Point Lookout are fierce. Definitely a challenge. I didn't DL Operation Anchorage based on the fan feedback. Glad I saved my money.

FEAR - Project Origin

Furankanshutain 08-15-2009 10:07 PM

Right now I'm working on "Prototype" for the XB-360. This game is insane! What gets me even more is the amount of stuff going on with no slowdown.

There again, it's not "Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion" which is another fave of mine for the '360. But anyhow, "Prototype" is one huge fight after another, and anything can happen.

The only good thing about Operation Anchorage was the Gauss rifle. That thing was freaking sweet.

You say that now but alot of people start to hate that after awhile. If you ever do play COD4 I'll take you on then.

Just got the last two dlc's for Fallout 3 and beat them.Mother Zeta is actually pretty hard to get through. You dont find much in the way of good health lieing around. But there are tns of weapons and there is this room you go into that is just stuffed with tons and tons of goody's.

The Dark Spire for DS... it's a REALLY FRACKIN' HARD rpg, one of those original dungeon crawler rpgs. But I love it :D Even if it is nearly impossible to beat

Lost Planet (Xbox360) - Third person sci-fi shooter. Really cool
Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom (Xbox360) - ActionRPG but it gets kinda boring after awhile. I'm still determined to beat it though!
