To hold a book in your hands, the scent of book store when you enter..Nothing can compare. ::love::

Perfectly put, and I couldn't agree more.

Exactly! I know what you guys mean. I always prefer reading a paper book to electronic. And I don't have a kindle.

Still, although I have some 30 books, 90% of the time I want the books to be from the library, used books, or electronic. Because nobody is reading the 30 books in my house (besides the few I may be reading). Just being practical, it's a waste of trees for everyone to have their own book at home (besides a few exceptions). Might as well go to the library and share them, or just read an electronic version -- otherwise it seems a waste of resources; something I'm especially aware of when I move them to a new place. While appreciating the importance of books, writing and learning, I personally want to avoid buying new paper books.

I assume these 30 books are all copies of the Bible?

Hey, you're good! Yep, all 29 versions and one Strong's concordance.

Well, no actually, just one NIV bible, but I was thinking of replacing it. It got rained on and the pages have mildew-like stains. ::big grin::

I am going to make like the guy in Ray Bradbury's short story The Murderer and murder all electronic devices! I just realized something else, if you're reading from a kindle and drop it, it is likely that it will break or won't work properly anymore (Not to say they work properly in the first place.), BOOM! There's a hundred or more bucks down the drain. When you drop a book, it will be alright.
