Pretty solid list yourself, were you referring to the Murnau or Herzog Nosferatu? Both are amazing films.

Herzog. But I do like Murnau's as well.

I'll have to admit, I enjoy Herzog's version a little more. I find it very artistic and atmospheric.

Ditto. The scene in the town square where people have gone delerious from plague is such a beautifully eerie scene.

Not to mention that although Max Schreck is still sinister as hell in the original Nosferatu, Klaus Kinski gives him a real soul and you end up sympathising him. Not to mention the scene where he sees a little cross as he's piling the withcoffins into the church (his reaction always makes me chuckle) and a brilliant twist ending that left me floored when I first saw it.

Nice to see The Sentinel on your list. It's way more obscure than it deserves, with its stellar cast and direction (by Michael Winner of all people). Scared the hell out of me as a kid.

I think it's a great film but I think its so underrated because of Michael Winner's involvment-he is absolutely despised in the UK.
