Powder. Excellent despite the controversial stuff said .

Art is art, and artists are freaks and always have been, from the beginning of time probably. Great movie despite it all.

By the Author of Being There:

Ever read THE PAINTED BIRD....but realy sick and disturbing. Tried to pass it off as a true experience, but disputed. That is the sickest book I ever read, and I have a thick skin too! Worth reading though!

Movies

I bought The Mothman Prophecies today, it was told to be absed upon real events, but I doubt about a real Mothman until now.

nine9 05-24-2004 10:01 AM

Look up Mothman on the web. I had a print out before on all of the reports. There were so many credible ones it makes it easy to believe. Liked the movie, but it takes from parts of the real accounts and mixes them together.

There was also another story regarding that place regarding an Indian curse. Read that too. Weird place! Like to go there even though the sightings have stopped!

fluffho 05-24-2004 11:36 AM

our tv is a 50' widescreen. hmm, i cant remmeber is ' means feet or inches. wel anyway, its inches. LOL hitachi HDTV buoght factory direct online $1500. the 60' wouldve been $1800. very good fuckin deal if i do say so myself!!

Arioch 05-24-2004 01:10 PM

Fluffo, do you have the website you bought that from? and maybe a review of the tv itself?

Thats EXACTLY the kind of deal ive been lookin for!!!

fluffho 05-24-2004 03:51 PM

if i could find the damn printout id tell you.

anyway, no one in this house is any good at reading instructions, so we havent been able to fix it exactly right. its great so far though. plus, its hitachi

ill try to find the thing for you, and hopefully when i set this shit up itll work better. actually, im lieing. cable isnt hooked up correctly so its a bit fuzzy (always has been). however playing a dvd in it... MAGNIFICENT

my mom was watching the barbra streisand concert i almost ran into the tv abuot ready to sock the wench. did i mention how much uglier peopel are on HDTV?

nine9 05-24-2004 05:00 PM

Not much into westerns, but like that one. Henry Fonda was one of my favorite actors. Liked Tomstone for a newer one. Going to buy it next.

Sam The Egg 05-24-2004 07:10 PM

the Wild Bunch was awsm, too

nine9 05-24-2004 07:21 PM

My husband likes Louis L' Amour books, hope I spelled that right. Likes traditional old stuff. Best western for me being female and all, you know, not as popular to us generally! LOL!, is Little Big Man. Read it too and loved it!

I will always be a true horror fan!

fluffho 05-24-2004 08:15 PM
