Well I stand corrected.

Technically, NE gets it. Both stories feature almost the same theme he mentioned.

Sorry Rod.

_____V_____ 03-27-2008 07:18 PM

The last question of the night, folks...is...

4) The first substantial vampire fiction that approximated a novel was a long running serial (popularly known as a “penny dreadful” or a “penny blood”) published between 1845 and 1847. When finally compiled into book form, it stretched to 868 pages over 220 chapters.

What was the name of this Gothic epic?

Fabulous contest tonight! Thanks to V and Despare for providing another great experience!

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the soundtrack- though we had a hasty exit by nearly everyone towards the end.

I'l be late for the next round- probably miss the whole thing, actually, but I'll set up a script to run the music.

_____V_____ 03-27-2008 07:31 PM

WTG, NE.

Totally deserving I must say. Rod had some real tough luck tonight though.

Catch you with the next one, folks!

Disease 03-28-2008 01:09 AM

Damn, I just couldn't stay up late enough......

I have to head to the dentist now, which is why I ended up flakeing last night.

newb 03-28-2008 04:13 AM

Good going NE. Some tough-ass questions in that round.

I don't see why using google would be a concern...people who know the answer are going to beat people using google everytime.
