umph!! Not my kind of group, In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida it's too long for me. Anyway if you like that kind of stuff you must try with Deep Purple-Made in Japan, one of the best live albums ever

And Deep Purple are pretty good, but I cant stand live albums. |
Sublime- 40 oz. to Freedom
Great albulm, great band. And you know it. |
Sublime always reminds me of summer 1997...that summer changed my life:p

I've spent many a afternoon smokin' dope to the self titled Sublime album. It reminds me of my first place after moving out of home. I was listening to this one all week until my tape chewed up :( http://www.onethirtyeight.com/disco/..._brutality.jpg Well at least those around me don't have to suffer me singing Where Eagles Dare anymore! Pulled this one out again today: http://www.aeroplanerecords.com.au/i...ng_machine.JPG The song Diamond Sea got me all emotional about the past :p what a sissy huh? :) |

Now yet another Manic Street Preachers album, I've grown quite a love for their sound and James Dean Bradfield's voice. It's "This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours". 1998 album, so it's newer and a LOT more mellow than any of their other albums I have. Pretty emotional lil piece of work, but in my opinion well done.

Dictators-Viva Dictators, and Turbo Negro-Apocalipse dudes. Maybe I'll be working till late but it is not a reason to do it with the best ambience
|
^^ The Dictators are a great band. Go Girl Crazy! is one of my all time favorite albums.... their song The Next Big thing is RnR the way it should be done.

Naw, not yet. Maybe I SHOULD make one (or ask you really nicely to :)...), I've got a cute idea for one.
My sessioning for the day was The Dead Kennedy's "Give Me Convenience Or Give Me Death"...I cleaned the house and had that going about 4 times in a row. Yeah, it was just on repeat and I was too into my cleaning to turn it, but it's also damn good music to bounce around the house to. |
Yeah!!! I love the Dictators...Faster and louder, Two tub man, Next big thing....they really kick ass but their albums are very expensive here in Spain 'cause they don't have a distribution company and you can only find it on importation for 25 euros...that sucks
|
I've been listening to 16 Horsepower's Secret South quite a bit lately. Fantastic record. If anyone reading this has any interest in folk music at all, I'd strongly recommend this, or any of 16hp's other records. Imagine if Nick Cave was obsessed with country and bluegrass rather than Delta blues and gospel, and you'd have an idea of what they sound like.

I've been blasting a CD with a bunch of Flux of Pink Indians stuff on it. Really cool old school punk in the vein of Crass. I really like the song They Lie We Die at the moment. I'd kinda ignored a lot of these old bands for ages cause I was more into the US Hardcore stuff but its good shit I tells ya! http://www.drstrange.com/images/29190_lg.jpg |
Got a copy of this the other day and can't stop listening to it: http://www.interpunk.com/itemimages2/106860.gif They came out of the ashes of one of my all-time favorite bands Aus-Rotten. Way cool I reckon ya'll kids should give it a try :)

Oh yeah...I been listening to The Rolling Stones "Some Girls" a lot this week. |

You probably will like Behind Enemy Lines there last album is really fuckin' amazing stuff and sums up the fucked up situation the world's in at the moment. There better than 90% of the "punk" bands out there. The Aus-Rotten (their album the Rotten Agenda is just about THE punk album in my opinon no one's really made a impact on the scene like since the DKs) legacy continues.... http://home.netcom.com/~hellsells/si...s/belcover.jpg ...but yeh I'll shut tha fuck up and stop raving..... there good so check 'em out :) |
|
I have that Behind Enemy Lines album, Elvis. You're right, it is a pretty good one. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even particularly like the style, as I've said before.
I've been all over some doom metal lately. Particularly My Dying Bride's Trinity and The Pale Haunt Departure by November's Doom. I have to pick up the Evoken album soon... |
It's not an album but later I will The Cult's Dvd 'mussic without fear-Live in los Angeles', Ian Astbury is one of the best frontmen I know
|
|
^^ I'v heard some interesting things about that one. Is it as good as people say?

Wow...this is one kickass Alice album. Roses on White Lace, Life and Death of the Party, and Freedom being my favourite tracks at the moment, aside from the title track of course. Marroe: Before you ask, I still havent checked out From The Inside. I went to CD Plus looking for it last week, but no sight of it there. Ill try HMV next time Im out there... |
|
Recently I've been playing the hell out of Metallica's "S&M". No idea why. I haven't listened to it in ages and I just remembered how great it is.

I've been listening to Septic Death all day:
|
I wish I was Pus Head
|
He does some pretty amazing stuff...... Jeff Gaither is really cool aswell and his work is in a similar vein but a bit more deranged.
