George Shrinks ..
in todays episode george was trying to film his own monster movie (with younger brother junior dressed as godzilla) but production wrapped as junior ended up being more of a threat to the cookies than the miniature town. so George had toi come up with a scarier monster. as luck would have it (george is extremely lucky) fate and coincidence once again intervened and provided george with an escaped monkey from the circus .. the usual hijinx ensued. |

well today it was Arthur.
2 shows as usual. #1 - The kids start believing they can tell fortunes though the folded paper game they have (pick a colour, l;ick a number ..etc) through a series of coincidences. #2 - Binky (the tough guy) is challanged to fight this small girl (who is taking tai kwon do) and admits that he's scared - he's never actually been in a fight before - people were always afraid of him because he's big. (i think he's supposed to be a dog ... not really sure) so the lessons today were : coincidences are just that - coincidences and sometimes reputations are gained without merit. |

George Shrinks
today's episode : George and Becky were having a sleepover where George's mom and dad felt they had to entertain the poor kids by doing a bizarre interpretive dance. (dad's a musician and mom's a sculpter - very artsy family) that failed to impress so dad told a ghost story - which was about their own house. Of course George and Becky decided to cacth the ghost ... and well .. lets just say there wasnt really a ghost.. just dads snoring going through the vents. I was a little disapointed because usually George Shrinks pays off and instead of the typical Scooby-Doo ending - sometimes there actually are real space aliens .. etc. i guess there is no room for the supernatural in George's world. |

i have to explain: George Shrinks comes on at 8:00am. on days where he goes to school i have to have him at the daycare by 8:00 because he takes the bus to school and back. So we only see George Shrinks on alternate days when he only has daycare. (junior kindergarten is either every other day or every day half day.) On school days the last show we see is Arthur ... on the weekend it's kind of like a wild card .... could be anything ! |

well.. for a little change today we watched dudly the dragon followed by this horrible show called The Toy Castle - which is just these characters that are supposed to be toys come to life - that do ballet.
i will say this .. the woman that plays mrs. mouse is fine fine fine... makes me hungry for some rodent lovin. |

once again the small boy with big ideas has to prove to someone that just because he's 3 inches tall - it doesnt mean he cant acomplish anything he wants to. today george was snubbed by his music teacher who didnt think George could handle anthing in the big talent-music show other than turning page music. so george - with the help of his always supportive family (especially his swingin hep cat musician dad) - built a huge music device - after a couple of minor setbacks. once again George stole the show and proved to the music teacher that bigger doesnt mean better. (something i've been trying to tell my wife for years) |
Animal Cops
Some asshole whacked a cat with a machette and knowcked it out a 4th floor window. the cat died on impact. A dog needed to have its leg amputated because it suffered nerve damage. A well meaning person scared eberyone by administering the dog a shot of penecillan An underfed Chow was rescued. Nicest damn dog i have ever seen on tv. |
