Agreed. Compaired to how many Halloween and Friday the 13th films there are, theres fvery few Nightmare films. I want to see more Freddy.

anyways, Freddy never got much development either. The revelation that he was the result of his mom getting gang-raped (always thought it'd have been interesting if they said which inmate actually knocked her up), him getting whipped by Alice Cooper, hitting a mouse with a hammer, and that's it. Sure, it seems like a decent amount, but its over 8 movies. And the revelation that he was just a movie character doesn't count.
