Yeah - despite the cast it wasn't near as good as the original..

Elvis - did you know that they shot different scenes for some parts of that film. I had a copy of when they are 'auditioning' new talent in the club. The bit with the new hooker was shot with her naked and with clothes on. The original Brit release had the former (as well as really cut).
