I heard that they'll be doing a remake about this about a year and a half ago and I was pretty disturbed by it cause the original was so great. I'll say this though, I'm not too surprised. I bet they'll remake a lot of 80's movies over again and I'll refuse to watch any of them. I'll stick with the Originals.

You havent seen It Follows yet. If you had, you'd be talking 'bout the new (and unique) Poltergeist footage in the theater-only trailer. Looks nuts.

Those expecting the typical Carol Ann will shit themselves when they see the new girl do this: I probably shouldn't spill the beans.

I'm not too sure about it. I'll go see it, of course because I'm trying to see every widely release horror film in theatres this year. It's directed by the guy who did Monster House and produced by Sam Raimi, which gives my a lot of hope. I'm just not expecting fireworks. Hopefully it's alright, though.

I didn't care for that remake, couldn't take him seriously after Waiting

I can never take him seriously because he reminds me of a young Chevy Chase.

This looks really good and could be the next big remake. I have hopes very high for this. Hopefully the father doesn't abuse the possessed girl/boy.
