I'm an asshat because people believe i'm one. It's really that simple... You set someone up for a certain behavior and then you reap what you sow. But then people complain when I bitch about stuff, as if you didn't help spawn it. :)

I think the main concern is that if you have the ability to change peoples avatars and edit their profile etc that you could also look into private messages if you were so inclined, and I would say that having moderated as part of a job before, you CAN make said alterations to peoples account, both this and the pm thing are something that should only really be done in the case of emergency, user request, and/or complaint relating to messages.
So when you don't take one seriously some might assume you wouldn't take the rest seriously either. That's the concern I see here.
Posher, I believe that if your password etc has been changed, your house mod can probably look into it?

She's pretty busy. As long as none of this happens again, I don't really care.

We can't access anyone's account, in any way, nor can we access passwords or PMs...In fact, this mod panel that gives us these limited options to alter 'potentially obscene' images on profiles, can't even be accessed from this forum...
