on subject, I hate the "Real fan" subject. Its usually brought up by nerds trying to pigeon hole people into groups, almost always designed to make themselves elite for liking something the "right" way and making other people "less qualified" because they are different.

Basically, it is a way for geeks with no real identity or talent to try and make themselves feel important.
