My boyfriend gave me this original Tara McPherson print:

He's going to frame it for my Birthday... I can't wait. I'm a HUGE fan of her work and I'm hoping to collect more of her prints. :)

My friend Kevin got me Tara McPheron's book, Lonely Heart: The Art of Tara McPherson

Gift Certificates (from my dearest Mum):
Moodz, my hair salon (I need a trim and color update)
Sonoma, a very lucious romantic restaurant (will probably use on our 1-year anniversary).

DVDs (from my old friend Adam, who seems to know me better than my own family):
Battlestar Galactica: Razor
Arenic and Old Lace

All and all, honestly, not to be selfish, but this was a relatively disappointing Christmas. I was hoping for my usual bunch of books and graphic novels, but, alas... Oh, well. I'll steal the lot that my boyfriend got. *jealous*

I got a painting last year I picked froma show, I think it is amazing, it was $170 Australian, I think it will be worth a lot more one day... The artist has tunnel vision, I don't have it with me , but will put up a picture of it next time I get the chance to take one.

I'd love to see it. What was really neat is that it's signed by the author and she wrote a note to my boyfriend in the shipment to thank him for the purchase... This will definitely appreciate in value.

We're also looking at collecting the art of Ray Caesar.
