Exorcist 3 is a good movie if you take out the fact it was part of the Exocorist series. Event Horizon I completely hated. Not sure why, I just could never get into it.

I so wanted to love E H but I've watched it three times now and it still naffs me off - I dont know why. It's like it could be better, it could be nastier, scarier, something? But it just ends up........... silly!!!

Sorry!!

Now yes, Exorcist 3 - totally underrated film - very clever how they pulled back from the atrocious sequel!!

Someone talking about Salem's Lot made me think of it the other, I may have to find it soon.

Yes, Motel Hell - that film is wickedly funny and horrible all at the same time! It creeped me out too!

I was passing some time in Soho, London in about 1903 and ended up watching it then.

Well..... it *was* along time ago!!!

Thought Event Horizon started out brilliant, ran along well and then that F**king ending.

It just wrecked the head completely. Visually it works and the atmosphere and potential for shocks is done well. But the core concept of the movie and how its revealED towards the end, just wrecked it. (opinion only)

Freaks ('32), one of my favorite horror films, very disturbing and just all around a great film.

Event Horizon, I watched it only once, actually saw it in the theater, I think and I hardly remember a thing about it.

Hey, I might have loved it and just don't remember loving it....;)
I think it is time for me to rewatch it.

Oh and as far as underrated goes I would like to add Ravenous, In the Mouth of Madness (yes, I like it dammit), Lord of Illusions, Nightbreed.....and one of my absolute favorite movies that very few people seem to talk about very much.....Videodrome.

I highly agree. I am a huge Carpenter fan and this movie should have gotten some kind of award. The mental state that the main character goes through is insane!

Nightmare on Elm St. 2......hell almost any of them. It is always nice to sit back and watch a movie that you do not need to constantly scramble around the plot in your head, you know?? But mainly 2 for me, I found it just as disturbing as the first one.

Wensday13 06-11-2007 07:56 PM

Ive always though the 2nd Nightmare was as good as the first one. Alot of people dont agree, I love it though. Freddy was as sinister in the second one as the first.

Im not gay by the way, not theres anything wrong with that.

Ive never enterained the gay notion concerning this film.
