I know a few people who are considered 'goth'...I don't know anyone who has proclaimed themelves to be 'Satanists' and definitely NOT 'Devil Worshippers'....The people that I know consider themselves to be either Christian, Pagan, Wiccan, Atheist, Agnostic or 'other'....It's pretty much just like any other sect of society...Or community... And that's what it's usually about...They have NO faith in themselves...So, they look to some other source to make them something that they can't achieve on their own...It's actually pretty sad...And it goes completely against ALL beliefs that Satanists hold...

Yes, and it's sad. One bad apple can spoil the bunch. Satanists have angsty teens who want to try to scare people because they have no faith in themselves. Which goes completely against the ideas of Satanism.

Same with Christians, they have the whackos who hate Jews, gays and pagans because of what they are, which as far as I know, goes against everything that Jesus taught.

I used to think that Satanists were actually Atheists who got a channel to show their non-belief in God. Its actually good in a way, cuz they are at least following a certain discipline. If something good comes out of it in their chosen paths, alls well that ends well.
