There have only been a few times when I've thought that the moderating process had gone too far (and I'm not talking about kpro's banning spree), but I thought before I spoke. When I rationalized the situation, it made sense to me.

Apparently, this Persuasion fellow doesn't know the actually meaning of "censorship." Condenscing thread types and forbidding types of threads are entirely seperate things. Fuck, they aren't even in the same universe. (Yeah, boy, Pr3ssur3, there's another whack for ya! I believe in more than one universe. Cosmic orgasms abound:D )!

LOL...Honestly...I didn't find them the LEAST bit offensive...And even if I DID, that would not be a reason to merge them, because they will still be there to cause offense, right?...

So, If I WAS 'offended' (which I swear is IMPOSSIBLE for me), the proper thing to do would be to remove them, right?...WRONG...If a moderator is PERSONALLY offended by something, that is no reason to remove it...It's simply an opinion...And moderating should NEVER be based on 'personal opinion'....

The feelings and opinions of the ENTIRE forum are what have to be taken into consideration...And I do not believe that everyone here was 'offended' by 4 banal threads....But, I DO believe that everyone would agree that it was redundant...That was why they were merged...


On a side note...I do know of a few instances where things were deleted SOLELY on the basis that they personally offended ONE moderator...And I discussed it with that moderator, and cautioned that person against it...

That was bullshit...I do not agree with it...And I do not do it...
